    Hi,

    I've stopped at step 13: install logstash-input-beats.
    The error I get is:
Unable to download data from https://rubygems.org - SocketError: initialize: name or service not known (https://rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz)
ERROR: Installation aborted, verification failed for logstash-input-beats

I've downloaded logstash-input-beats-2.2.0.gem, put it in logstash\bin and run
    plugin install logstash-input-beats-2.2.0.gem
    and I got:
io/console not supported; tty will not be manipulated
    Validating logstash-input-beats-2.2.0.gem

The machine is a Windows 2012 R2 with internet access through a proxy.

    Thanks

Running a command like this it's fine (the file is tranferred):
    bitsadmin /transfer mydownloadjob /download /priority normal https://rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz E:\ELK\logstash\bin\latest_specs.4.8.gz

Setting HTTP_PROXY system variable was working!

    Thank you!
