    Hello,

I added the ulyaoth repository tomy centos 6.
    Spotify does not launch :
spotify: error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    I searched for solution :
    root@centos yum.repos.d]# locate libudev.so.0
    /lib64/libudev.so.0
    /lib64/libudev.so.0.5.1
    /usr/lib64/libudev.so.0
    /usr/lib64/libudev.so.0.13.1

the solution gived is to create symbolic link by typing
    ln -sf /lib64/libudev.so.1 /lib64/libudev.so.0

But, this solution is not good because ... caused the system crashed, error with libudev, obliged to reinstall. There are some opinions says that is not advised

    Any other idea ?

    Hello,

The only solution is to upgrade toward centos 7, which have the libudev.so.1

    Thanks

Hi thank you for the report I had a small test and it seems I or need to redesign the rpm for rhel6 as the glibc is no longer compatible.
Or I should simply stop the support for the Spotify rpm for all the rhel6 based Linux distro since it is becoming so outdated :/ and a pain to keep up to date.

I have a look at it this weekend if I have the time, again thank you!
